The Local Hero’s Bar, Leicester is a chain and very much like many Local Hero bars around the area. The drinks are cheap with your standard picking of larger, and sprits. It also does food, which isn’t the best on the same level as most weather spoons fine dining! It has a very chain pub feel to its décor, drinks list and menus. The best thing about the location of this pub is its close to the Odeon cinema so if you miss your movie or just arrive early it’s a worthy place to waste a bit of cash and time

nice pub and well laid out, but food and service were dire the pub is spacious and based near the cinema and bingo so a good place for meeting up or a drink after a night out However, whilst the food is well priced I have been twice and waited ages to be served cold, flavourless food. Even the children were complaining about their chips last time I went there. For food — steer clear

Local Hero is a resturant/pub in leicester. Its great for its food. bad for its drinks. The menu for the food is oknot that much variety for vegitarians. They also have a specials bored what they cook. The great thing about this place is that the meals are two for one, the cheapest being free. For extras such as garlic bread, extra chips, sweetcorn, you have to pay on top but thats a given. The kids menu is also pretty cheap for what you get as well, and like the other menu doesnt have much for vegetarians. The drinks are very very expensive! Which is a downfall for the pub, Its £1.60 for half a pint. which is very deer. The atmosphere of the resturant is very nice, always kept clean and tidy. The people that work there are also very nice and polite.

A two for one chain pub, which makes it exceptionally cheap if you want two scampi and chips, otherwise it’s ok-ish value. The food is fine, standard pub fare — hardly fresh made on the premises but still by no means dire for the money. Same again with the drinks selection, nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing particularly cheap. This place is quite faceless overall really, it’s a chain and relishing that status. However, it’s clean and the staff are helpful and commited enough for you to be able to overlook the mistakes which are generally bountiful in the service. Not bad if you want to eat before you visit the Odeon though, it’ll keep you fuller than overpriced nachos.
