This is a company that provides a lunch(soup) and main course, that enable you to keep within the 600 calories of the 5:2 diet. The 5:2 diet is where you eat normally for 5 days(not exceeding your 2000 calories for female, and 2500 calories for male per day), and then on two designated days you eat only 600 calories. I tried this company out on a recommendation, as at the time the were offering a 3 week’ deal, 50% off. This was quite reasonable(cost me £18), and free delivery and quick. On the whole the soups are soups and tend to be around the 135 calorie mark, and the mains are circa 116 — 300 calories. I suppose the reason I won’t be using them again is that the main meals tend be just thicker soups. One of the mains: Moroccan Meatballs — spicy taste, but the biting into the meatballs were bland, and tasteless. Similarly with a chicken curry. The meat was barely apparent, and it looked and tasted like cardboard. I think the company has set themselves a hard task with regards to the main meals. I’ve noticed that on the 3 week’ plan that the choices have been reduced: Soups… Hearty 3 Bean Carrot and Coriander Curried Parsnip Classic Minestrone Moroccan Garden Pea & Mint Garden Pea & Smoked Ham Soup Spicy Tomato Vegetable & Lentil Mains… 3 Bean & Ale Casserole Smoky Chicken & Butter Bean Casserole Spicy Chicken Arrabbiata Moroccan Meatballs Smoky Sausage & Butter Bean Casserole Spicy Vegetable Couscous Vegetable Chilli Butternut Risotto Vegetable Casserole
