Rating des Ortes: 4 Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom
This is a National trust house and gardens. The topiary is stunning, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen such immaculately manicured gardens anywhere. They have limited parking on site, but it’s rarely busy enough to be a problem. There is only one toilet building, which is by the car parking right at the front, so definately go before you start walking. They have a really lovely topiary sundial in two types of laurel, a lovely pond, and gorgeous views over the Aylesbury vales. Take a picnic and spend the afternoon enjoying the place, it is beautiful. If you are a National Trust member, Ascott is well worth a look.
