Booze Buster is an off licence in Maghull, situated near the Meadows pub and shopping area.
They have an excellent range of beers, wines, spirits, ales, alcopops, soft drinks, snacks and confectionery. They often have lots of special offers on which can make it very cheap indeed.
The prices overall are inexpensive, similar to what you would find in a Bargain Booze. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shop can get busy but the staff serve customers quickly and efficiently.

The name on the front of the shop reads Buster Booze, but apparently the name of the shop is actually Booze Buster. I don’t really get why they’re prefer to call it Booze Buster though, it makes it sound like they’re some kind of company that takes away or confiscates booze, much like some kind of prohibition force or something.
In reality, Booze Buster is in fact an off-​licence so if anything they’re encouraging you to drink a lot, or at least buy a lot anyway. The shop itself is quite small and dingy but it does the job as it offers a decent selection of beers, wines and spirits at fairly competitive prices, even if they are a bit more expensive then what you’d pay if you went to a supermarket.
The staff in there are helpful enough if you need them but don’t expect them to come up to you and ask you how your day has been or anything. Not that something like that really bothers me much though.

Booze Buster isn’t quite its rival Bargain Booze but is still a quality off-​license. Offering a range of beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks as well as basic snacks, this is your one-​stop shop before a party. With frequent and almost constant offers on beers and wine, you can get your alcohol from here at a much discounted rate.
I don’t particularly enjoy this Booze Buster as it’s quite dingy inside. Although, saying that, the stock is organised logically and is easy to navigate. Staff are fairly curt but I suppose that’s because there can quite often be a queue in here.
A handy local place to have but not the best off-​license I’ve been too.
