best bar in this area of town, decent priced and good quality beer, great staff and all top sporting events and horse racing covered. what more do you want?

Well, what can you say about this place …
It’s been done on the cheap, toilets stink! More women in the toilets than there is in the bar, usually pouring their own drinks out that they’ve brought themselves!!!
Staff, poor, lazy, one blonde girl from behind the bar was singing on the kareoke when there was dirty empty glasses everywhere!
Big hole in the ceiling with a bin liner stuck in it & water leaking down, poor décor & generally dusty & dirty.
Must be bad management as staff are not interested in the customers.
One or two decent customers the night we were in but on the whole a bit scummy, will not be going back I’m afraid.
Beehive & Rileys next door are a lot more professional, although the music is a bit loud.
Will stick to other end of town … Julie.

Brownlow’s looks smart from the outside, but is narrow and crowded on the inside and really is the kind of place that an older crowd of people would visit rather than the student types.
As a pub it isn’t bad the atmosphere is okay and can be quite lively at times and as with all good boozers they do poor a good pint so there are many things in their favour. This place also loves a bit of sport and if you want to combine two of your favourite pass times i. e drinking and watching sport then this is a good place to do so, the prices aren’t bad either.
This place has a good location and it is easy to nip out and grab a paper or perhaps a bite to eat from one of the many eateries nearby.
Brownlow’s is nothing special but it is small and lively enough so there’s hardly a cause for complaint as you know exactly what you will get.

A packed, narrow hallway of a boozer, Brownlows is the perfect place to go if you’re a fan of whatever sport is playing from any one of the dizzying array of screens. For me, however, I had little choice but to involuntarily stand in an obtrusive spot and block the views of people who hated me on sight. My larger choice was to leave, which I soon did.
The crowd who flock into Brownlows, and they are a crowd mind, are the kind of men who wear high-​quality shirts and generally give off the impression of celebrating an acquittal. This is one to avoid if you like anywhere I like, a.k.a the correct places.

This bar always looks full as you approach as it’s long and narrow. The atmosphere is quite good although it does get its fair share of poseurs and ‘Two Bob’ millionaires.
Pleasant staff, decent music and close to the other circuit bars, so call in even for just the one.
