Staying on a kitchenware tip, Cath Kidston is the queen of gorgeous homeware. Situated in the Liverpool ONE development, this store is an absolute treasure chest filled with all kinds of cute and kitsch goodies. There’s pastel cake tins, multi-coloured cake stands, polka dot aprons and tea towels, melamine plates and cutlery and squirre salt and pepper shakers. They also sell adorable patterned bedding, crocheted bedspreads, occasional wooden cabinets and clothes. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the cherry ironing board covers. Just looking at them gives me visions of ending up like Bree in Desperate Housewives!

Cath Kidston is a vintage designer who adorns her prints to a variety of products and I have to say her store in the Liverpool One vicinity is a real treat to behold and it offers something for shoppers of both sexes and of all ages. The best thing about this store is its true independence which is something sadly missing from today’s society when it comes to the retail sector. The store itself is wonderful and extremely well run which is testament to the attitude and dedication of the staff. This store is a real treat and has something for all and the products scream true quality.

Cath Kidston is a highly distinctive brand. If you like matchy-matchy and floral patterns then this is a must-visit. The window display of the Liverpool ONE store is quite something! The store is beautifully arranged and allows shopper’s eyes to feast upon cute and kitsch duvets, cushions, teapots and kid’s clothing. Everything has a ‘hand-made’ feel which is really alluring. You can get a great array of fabrics or cutesey accessories. The bags in here are my faves. The satchels are especially roomy! Prices are more expensive than other homeware stores but worth it. If you can’t visit the delightful store then you can order online. I’m a fan.

This Cath Kidston store is situated within the Liverpool ONE development. It is a gorgeous little shop. The first thing that attracted me was the beautiful window display. Inside the shop is equally attractive. The staff here are friendly, warm, cheerful and helpful. They make you feel very welcome. There are a lot of different items on sale, with the unmistakable Cath Kidston patterns on them. They have ceramics, children’s clothes, textiles, stationary, kitchenware, bags and much more. All the items are beautifully made and are of a very good quality. The items are not cheap, but they are worth it as they are so cute!

Cath Kidston’s brand is an immediately recognisable one. Florals and tiny prints ringing any bells? Well, this Liverpool store dedicated entirely to it is slightly suffocating. Flowers Everywhere. It’s not cheap either, but it’s quality. They have everything for the home; teapots, pots and pans, aprons, whisks… all bearing the logo. It reminds me of some sort of 1950s propaganda for women looking pretty whilst cooking in the home. They have their patterns available on rolls of fabric at the back if you fancy making curtains, table cloths or dresses if you are so inclined!(Depends how Maria Von Trapp you are really.) Also, there is an assortment of children’s clothing and bedding which is really cutesy and some overnight bags for travelling in style. In short. If you like pretty, you will like this shop. But it’s visually and price-wise a little too overbearing for me.

Cath Kidston is a luxury brand name that sells anything from bags, clothes and accessories dedicated to the young female gender. The small shop is located in Liverpool ONE and not in the most obvious of places; it is not noticed easily, being on a side street that is not often busy. One day I did come across it by accident and so popped in to have a look at their wonderful range of colourful items. One thing that struck me was its flowery decorations echoed throughout some of their popular bags and fabrics. It was then I realised that yes, this is definitely a shop for girls who like to look pretty! Bet I looked odd being the only male in the shop but I did get a warm welcome by one of the female assistants. Cath Kidston certainly has a summer feel about it, offering a selection of kids clothing such as tops, blouses and swimwear. Everywhere I looked had something in common — matching colours and patterns on most designs. This shop is somewhere to go if you’re a young female into the latest fashion, and have more than a little to spend on essential items to add to your image and collection of trendy gear.
