This is now a Weterspoons. I have an inherant dislike for wetherspoons based on previous visits to other establishments. I had visited others like the Fiveways Hotel at Childwall I would have a different view. This place doesn’t feel like any of the other wetherspoons I’ve visited. No groups of old men spending all day drinking cheap bear. It felt like a place you could spend time and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. I visited on a Sunday afternoon so it may be different in the evenings. I had a nice JW Lees Chocoholic and a brewdog edge at £1.75 a pint. The daily food special was a Tark Dhal Curry, rice and popadoms for £2.30!

An ernormous emporium of food, drink and entertainment And no the name is not an introduction to the first chapter of he Kama Sutra, the pub is on a roundabout. Serves good beer and value food, has a pleasant outside area and friendly staff so pay avisit.
