The Corner Tavern could not be more typical of the pubs in and around the Prescott road and Kensington area. From the outside it does not look to promising and it is the same old story inside this public house. The atmosphere is quite flat in here and as with most Kensington pubs people who are not from the area normally receive a lower level of customer service than those who are. This kind of attitude is like a throwback to olden times when people were scared of outsiders and indeed change in general. The service here is slow and the beer is not the best in the world but then again the prices aren’t too bad so you get what you pay for I suppose. On the whole this pub is not somewhere I would recommend unless you are in desperate need of a pint and don’t mind a frosty reception.
