My experience here wasn’t the best of all the costas I have been to. I always order an iced hazelnut latte. Now this place is the only one that didn’t blend the warm coffee shot before adding it to the milk and some ice. Instead when I asked if they would blend the coffee they proceeded to blend the whole drink together. It was disgusting and annoys me that it is not universal how they make the drink given that it is supposed to be high quality and is dearer that other places.

Costa coffee is probably the best of a national chain for coffee. However I can’t believe that in such a prominent place with plenty of through put that they close at 6pm!!! What is it with this city? If you want a drink you have to go into the city center. What! Doesn’t anybody else drink coffee? Next on my list is. Why don’t they supply alternatives to dairy other than soya milk. We all know that soya is bad for your thyroid and body on general so give us some rice milk, or almond milk. There are plenty of alternatives. Give us vegans a break and increase your profits too. Only 3 stars I’m afraid.

We all know about Costa Coffee and what it serves up and they generally have a great reputation but I believe this branch in the Albert Dock area is a cut above the rest. The first reason for this is its fantastic location within the dockside area, to sit here and relax with a quality cup of coffee is a relaxing and enjoyable experience no matter what time of year it is. Essentially a visit here is just a great little filler on any day out around the docks and it is a chance to relax in a wonderful ambience. The staff are great and do as much as they can to make you feel at home which includes serving up great coffee and tasty snacks such as slices of cake to go along with it. You may think you know Costa Coffee but check out this place and it may give you a whole new view.
