Freshfield News is a handy newsagent as it’s located in very close proximity to Freshfield train station, so you can pick up some snacks, a drink and a magazine before embarking on your journey.
Prices in here are very reasonable and everything is logically organised so if you’re in a rush to catch the train you can find what you need swiftly. Staff are friendly enough and helpful if you can’t see what you want.
Offering all the usual newsagent’s services, this is a good place to pick up a newspaper and a chocolate bar.

Freshfield News is a very small newsagents located very close to the Freshfield train station. It seems to be the only place around where you can buy a newspaper, so I guess the people who live around here can’t be too choosey.
They sell a small amount of snacks as well, but nothing like the range you will find in the newsagents in town. I wouldn’t count on getting a lunch here. There is a small snack bar across the street if you need more food than you can find here, and a café around the corner.
