Frost’s Newsagents

I don’t live around here so I can’t give quite as interesting a review of this place as Dave did, since I’ve only been in the shop once, but it seemed a decent little newsagents.
The staff seemed pretty friendly, and you can find all your basics here, so if you find yourself wandering the streets of Hunts Cross like I did … why not nip in here for a cold drink or a chocolate bar?

This is the closest newsagents to the bus stop I sit at coming home from work. What you have just read may seem like the most monotonous sentence you’ve ever glanced at in your life, and you’d be right, but you also misunderestimate the impact this has on me.
The staff are the best thing about this place. I’m unsure what shift patterns they must be on but evidently, they’re nigh-​on identical to mine and they feel the same about that fact. When I slouch my way here on Monday, dreading the week ahead, the person behind the counter looks just as miserable. When I moonwalk in on a Friday afternoon, the same person practically has their hand up, ready for a high five. It’s not often you share a bond with a complete stranger serving Twixes, but it happens here all the time.
