pretty sure this place has closed down now… heard it was good though in its day

The food was delicious and a great atmosphere, but the last two times we tried to visit it, it was closed, v frustrating, and my friend has now renamed it ‘jamaican me angry’.
We would love to visit it again, but we may not make the trip over to Lark Lane again, as we dont want to make another wasted journey.

A new restaurant/​café featuring afro caribbean cuisine like jerk chicken, lamb currry, fried snapper, curried goat, akee and saltfish and cook down chicken. All available to eat in or take away. There’s a good selection of vegetarian and vegan fayre and has a relaxed and informal café style enviroment with room for about twenty so its cosy.
All mains are about the £7−50 mark so it’s not ott on price and you can take your own booze with no corkage charge.
