My nan has used this service for some years now, since her mobility reduced and she became reliant upon a wheelchair. Nan calls ahead a couple of days prior to the day of pick-up to book the bus which usually arrives promptly. The drivers are, for the most part, extremely helpful, patient and sociable, ensuring that the passengers are secure and content onboard and chatting readily to them throughout the journey before helping each disembark safely; there have been a couple of incidents with particularly unpleasant drivers but these are rare. The service has been invaluable to nan enabling her to maintain a social life visiting family, going shopping and out to the theatre(the last pick up is quite late, about 11 oclock). It even runs over the christmas period including christmas eve, christmas day and boxing day which has been made use of annually. Each passenger is allowed one essential carer to accompany them. Their luggage is limited to two shopping bags, which is fair enough as the buses are only small.
