This branch of Morrisons is a «Local» store and is in the city centre of Liverpool, quite close to St John’s and the railway station. This store has quite a good range for a store of its’ size, stocking some Starbucks beverages and a good range of drinks, including Tropicana. This store is mainly just an «average» corner shop but located in the city centre, it isn’t perfect and just mainly stocks essentials, but they don’t need a big superstore, as people don’t go into a city centre to buy their groceries(Tesco please take note!) The staff didn’t seem to great, they could have helped assist customers more, and move the tills in a quicker fashion, such as trying to get people using the self service machines, on my visit they was a good sized queue for the staffed checkout and no one manning the self service tills. They did have a small gluten free section here stocking the basics, including a rather good offer on a nice gluten free shortbread for 99p, and I did also see a small coffee, machine but I would recommend going elsewhere, as they is so many options for coffee in Liverpool’s city centre, even just a few minutes walk from here. In my opinion, this isn’t a place that you should visit while in Liverpool unless you do need basic groceries, it is simply an average place, so I feel it deserves 2 stars.
