As a goggle-​eyed freak — although in denial due to contacts I’ll be honest — it’s important to be able to get hold of a pair of spectacles that are more then just the injection moulded, saftey glasses option found on the NHS and splash out on what is essentially a further part of your identity.
Let’s face it you need to splash out these days just to set your self apart from all the fakers out there wearing the once ridiculed handicap tool as some sort of fashion accessory — non prescription lenses available for the plebs at Primark people! I didn’t get called 4 eyes at school for it to come to this!
At Optimark they do have a very cool selection of specs by lots of top brands like Prada or Armani and some are very stylish accessories however let’s face it, you will only be out and a drunken mate will belittle your £400 pair of ‘A Single Man’ style hornrims by shouting across the bar ‘go on, giz a go on them’.

This is great opticians with a choice of cool frames from brands that aren’t as obvious as the usual suspects. Great friendly service and inexpensive. Also do contact lenses. Nice independent business
