This musical shop looks so classical and well… musical from the outside, that it’s impossible not to be drawn in! With an array of beautiful instruments including violins and trumpets it’s a great place to browse if you’re really into music and are forming your own band or play as a hobby. Service is really friendly and if you have any musical questions the staff are knowledgable on their products. It isn’t the most varied of music stores I’ve been in but I still think Richard Behrend is a quality place to head too if you want some advice on your violin, or accessories such as guitar strings.

I’m not sure what constitutes a musica shop but I’m pretty sure it’s instruments? Now I am no Mozart, listen I’m honest so I can even say I’m no Ringo but for me penny whistles, harmonicas and flutes do not really constitutes a musical shop. There were a few other items here such as a violin and a trombone but it is a pretty limited selection. I think the speciality is repairs and tuning rather than the selling but you have a pretty small window of opportunity to find out when the store opening is limited to Tue — Fri 10 til 5.30 and only 10 til 1 on saturday.
