One thing that is guaranteed with San San is that the food is going to be fantastic value for money. If you are going here for a pre night out meal you will be a happy camper indeed. Why? Heck you’ll keep diggin into your wallet to find hidden treasures you didn’t know existed thanks to San San finall food bill. The target market I feel San San went for is exactly that pre night out crowd rather than other demographics. If they did go for the latter they missed out but if I’m right they smashed it out the park. The service is good enough and even if you are after a spot of lunch Three Course dinner menu is under a fiver! available untill about 2.30pm! With San San whether its lunch or dinner you’re after you can can. Although for all you fine diners it might not be quite the palce you’re after, but I’m sure you already guessed that by the lunch time offer. Hey I’m sure we don’t hold it against them its simply a different niche market, is it not.

San San is one of the thousands of Chinese Restaurants in Liverpool and unfortunately it does nothing to stand out from the rest. The market for these kind of restaurants is understandably a tough one and although San San is adequate it just didn’t quite tick the boxes for me. Despite being in a great location the restaurant looked shabby and was fairly dark, therefore not making the most of its’ prime Lime street location. The staff were friendly enough and the prices were reasonable enough but the food was not amazing and I got the impression there was not much time and care taken over it. The service was quick but I’m not sure what that means to be perfectly honest. San San almost seems a bit leathargic, it has a great loccation and lots of potential but really doesn’t make the most of it.
