I’m not a huge fan of Sayers, not that I have to be in order to get a quick lunch down me. This applies even though I find their food quite salty. Nevertheless, the thing I like about this particular Sayers is that you have the obvious simple take-out option alongside a self-service café where you can tuck into a bit of breakfast and brunch. The tea room is simple in design, spacious and has plenty of room for small groups. You can eat anything from breakfast toasties to sausage and pie dinners. However plain and unappealing it may sound, food comes cheap so if you’re looking for a typical English lunch, then Sayers has those options. Having said that, food isn’t the most moreish!
