Shere Khan used to hold a lot of weight with me however its reputation was dealt a blow with my last visit. The food wasn’t good. The chain of restaurants has in time lost its touch. There was a time when Shere Khan was recognised as a quality Indian cuisine brand name. This particular branch however does serve some good food. However there is a standardized feel to it. Perhaps they just snoozed a little bit when I was there, but my drink had more soda in it than Cola. The naan breads tasted more tesco plastic wrapped rather than freshly made. Upon making them realize their mistake their response was not satisfactory in my book. I was made to feel slightly guilty for pointing out their error ridden ways. Despite this mishap it is otherwise a fairly safe option for those looking for a bit of a spicy snack.

Shere Khan which is located within St. John’s Precinct, is an Indian take-away where you can enjoy traditional delicacies that the food court has to offer. The section is well decorated, looks clean and tidy with a mouth-watering selection of food. They also serve Halal dishes for those concerned. I have ate there once before and it wasn’t the best experience I’ve had not because of the food but because I had to wait about 20 minutes for my meal which was ridiculous considering it was meant to be fast-food. They weren’t awfully busy at the time too. My lamb and mint burger served with fries and a salad side was nothing special and I didn’t understand why it took so long.
