This place does what it says on the tin. It is a pub that has Sky sports. The feel in here is very much the local boozer where everyone knows everyone. I stopped in for a pint to check in on the football scores, and was met with a friendly smile; The barman is friendly enough. I took my drink and parked myself in an unassuming corner and continued to look at the screen. As I was sat there more and more locals came in, it didn’t make me feel awkward, they all smiler and nodded at me, even included me in the banter about the tv interview with Jose Marinio. It was a bit like a working mans pub and seemed over time they had painted one room, then wallpapered another room, the decided to put a new unit in for the bar! All very random. However, the drinks were not expensive, the locals friendly and if you are with your mates, or indeed on your own, and just want to watch the game with a drink in your hand you can do worse. For an absolutely no frills local sports pub!
