I recently had Sunday brunch at 3course and was really impressed! It’s a really relaxed, open kitchen atmosphere. All menu options came with your choice of French toast or pancakes as a side. I ordered the fruit and french toast and it was delicious! Really fresh & beautiful presentation. The waiter really made an effort to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall, it was a really nice meal and I will definitely be back!

I had just moved to the area and found this place on Unilocal.Great local eatery, and really cosy. Amazing value and interesting, concise menu. Would definitely recommend, and worth getting the full three course for the price(£28).

3 Course is one of those lovely meals in a lovely spots that you tend to walk by for no reason at all. It happens to me all the time in this area and I really should cut it out. Inside, it has that classic pub feel(large windows, wooden tables, dark walls) but it’s about as far from a pub as possible. They have no menu on their site because it changes weekly but they will say this — you will get three courses every time. Even with breakfast, you get your starter, your main and then a side of pancakes or French Toast all on the same plate. Yes, you heard me, a side of pancakes or French Toast. The presentation here is as nice as the place itself, everything coming down on clean stark white plates with the food carefully arranged. Even my soft shell crab burger looked lovely, and that is not a lovely looking food. The staff here can be a little cold and I always feel like I’m bugging them when I ask for something like ketchup. But the food is so good, it almost doesn’t matter. Great meal in a less-than-traveled-to spot. Stop in next time you’re here, if nothing else but for a side of pancakes.

This place is excellent. The food is fantastic & interior is beautiful. We have a small baby, so I have always been there for lunch & for brunch. My husband loves it because the brunch comes with a side of the best pancakes I have had outside of the states. Looks like they are open for food enents on certain nights of the week, but also have a normal menu that changes often. We lucked out this evening because I called after someone happen to have canceled a booking & when I called they agreed to take us along with a sleeping baby in her push chair. Even though it is just a little neighborhood place, it was by far one of the nicest, most relaxed meal out I have had for as far back I can remember. The mood was very nice in the evening, chill lighting, would be a great place to take someone to impress on an early date and from the look of it from the tables around us, I was not the first one to have this idea. :) We had the evenings ‘food event’ option, which was a mountain of fresh meatballs & a lamb dish I can’t remember the name of. The presentation was fantastic, which made the food even better. We were left to enjoy our meal & were not at any point rushed, which is a nice change for a Friday night out! I very much advise if you have a chance, book a dinner here, top marks all around!!!

.excited about this place! Literally a hop skip and jump away from our apartment, 3 course is really an ode to the up-and-coming nature of our neighborhood. It is based in what had been the abandoned Bombay Bicycle Shop on an Essex Road corner. Not yet serving late as they await their liquor license, we popped over for Saturday brunch and it did not disappoint. The owner is a local himself, which is great news for the business & neighborhood. And an added bonus — there is a flower saleswomen in front of the shop each day, brightening up the sidewalk. As stated by the name — you really are getting 3 courses with each dish. For breakfast, with every meal — no matter what you order, you get a choice of French Toast or Pancakes. What? Heaven you say? I chose the veggie option with asparagus, hashbrowns, mushrooms, spinach and salad(and a side of french toast!), whereas my partner opted for eggs benedict(and again a side of french toast — can you tell I’m excited?) The menu changes weekly and you can keep track with their facebook page before you pop in. And to top it off there are yummy treats to take home displayed where you pay. I loved the Décor — modern light fixtures hang overhead giving the place a bright and sophisticated feel(and if you look closely you can see them all for sale) Despite being a small space, it is furnished with acoustics kept in mind — although we were surrounded by diners on all sides, I was easily able to hear my partner and enjoy our breakfast conversation. And, to top it off, the kitchen is open plan, so you can actually see your food before it comes out to you. Finally a local to get excited about!
