Ambience

My sister suggested this restaurant and as I’m not usually a huge fan of Turkish food I wasn’t overly enthused, but in this case I was definitely wrong!
We started off looking through the impressive cocktail menu — I chose the Mango Jambo which was delicious (although the coconut milk made it very sweet and a little dessert-​y, so I ended up drinking most of it after the meal). They have a great selection with a wide range of spirits. The menus are laminated and a lot of the cocktails come in novelty glasses so it’s not a classy affair, but great if you’re looking for a fun & laid back evening!
We ordered a selection of food between us and the portions were very generous. My favourites were the grilled halloumi (although I’m not sure how you can go wrong with this) and the stuffed peppers — they were stuffed with couscous & veg and were surprisingly light. All of the dips were well seasoned an not too oily, a problem I usually find!
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and overall it was a lovely meal.

If you’re into oriental music and food this is your place.
Ambience has everything that could possibly remind you of the spicy oriental dishes that they serve in, for example, Istanbul.
Try some traditional meze like tabule or the kofte (my fave).
If you’re not feeling hungry the cocktails menu is also big. Nothing really unexpected there, classic cocktails and some variations.
The best, I think, is their dance show program. This is what really gets you in mood and I’m sure everyone would enjoy it.
If you haven’t been to an oriental restaurant before, I so much recommend Ambience you’ll love it.

just left the restuarant after a very nice meal.
The doors were wide open so it felt like we were alfresco, which was very nice.
We were the only people there at 5pm.
We ordered 1 hot meze and 1 cold and i can safely say they were among the best i have eaten before.
For the main we ordered the mixed grill which had a variety of tasty meats on it served with 2 diff types of chilli, salad and rice. You were also offerred 2 condiments chilli and garlic sauce
The food was very filling and tasty and can not fault it. The décor was nice but a little dusty on the floor and table we were on poss because of the doors being open?
They have belly dancing on a saturday and when i asked about booking a mums night out they informed me they could book a man lol. I know this will be an absolute hoot on a girls night out.
I will definetly be back and can recommend it.
