I really really wanted to like this place and have now given them three goes, but won’t be returning. The service isn’t warm, but I could live with that, if the results were good. However, my concern is around the cleanliness of this salon. I had a pedicure today and watched as the woman working on my feet picked up cuticle cutters full of someone else’s skin, tapped the debris out and went to cut my cuticles without even running them under a tap! I made a loud fuss, and the manager came running over with a new pair still in the packet. I was appeased until I saw them put the old dirty pair back into the new packet. I really want to find a good salon near me, and am willing to pay a little more for it, or put up with cool service, but not poor hygiene. Yuck

I go to this walk-in nail bar every month for a pedicure and can highly recommend it. You don’t need to make an appointment, and I’ve never had to wait to be seen yet so it’s VERY convenient. It only costs £20(even if you want french manicure polish on your toes) and is as good as any beauty salon I have tried, but cheaper. There’s a special back massage chair to sit in whilst your feet are being soaked and attended to. You’re offered a drink, plus there’s a large supply of mags to read while relaxing. And for a fiver more, you can have diamonte decorations on your toe nails. The treatment takes around 45 mins all-in-all. The only negatives I can think of, if pushed, are more time could be spent on shaving off the dry skin, plus a longer foot massage wouldn’t go a-missbut I’m probably just being fussy and know I could get that from a Chiropodist and relaxologist. It’s cheap, cheerful, does and job and doesn’t break the bank.
