Quick, quick, quick! AMT Coffee gets it done fast, fast, fast! This one is in Wimbledon station on the pedestrian bridge, but usually located in major train and railway stations, AMT has a rather simple menu of coffee drinks including lattes and cappucinos but also blended and iced drinks. There’s a panini press, but I’ve never actually seen anyone buy a sandwich. And a few pastries. I can recommend the pain au chocolat, but it’s bits of buttered croissant are not recommended if you don’t like to wear crumbs. Top of the stack for me though is the Palomino. A small cup with some steamed milk and two big shots of espresso. I call it «GO! juice» and it’s excellent! On a Sunday at noontime, the barista(do they call them baristas at AMT?) filled up the filter thingie with grounds, put the coffee in the cup with the milk and my one sugar and I was ready. £1.65 later I was on the way to being very awake!
