Being Greek, perhaps I am more demanding. But there is no excuse for what they served up as pork souvlaki. It wasn’t cooked on the grill as claimed(i know that flavour very well), and it was full of fat and nerves. I left more than half of the«meat» in my plate. The baklava was nice. And the wine was delicious. But given the meat was terrible, I doubt i’ll be going back. To confirm my decision, I can cite the waitresssing staff’s interesting behaviour. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were seated at a «reserved» table. Does this mean they hoped we’d leave quickly, or do they use those signs to keep tables for people they like the look of? Possibly the former, given how they took away plates before either of us was done chewing the last mouthful. It was rushed. Very rushed. If I want food that quickly, I’ll go to KFC.

The waitress we had was the nicest lady ever. She really was so sweet, I could eat her up! But waitress lovin aside, we came here at 9 on Friday and were quickly seated without a reservation. Ordered the £6.50 octopus which were two tentacles– very good but wish there were more tentacle joy. £1 garlic pita was perfect for dipping in the £4.95 chicken soup. £5.75 falafel was exactly as crispy as I expected it to be, and the £5.50 pork sausage was probably the least exciting dish, but overall we really enjoyed the meal.

We had dinner here as part of a gathering, with ten of us taking the«high» table at one end of the space. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. My husband and I each had starters and mains, but no alcohol, so our bill was probably less than the average. We hadn’t heard of Andrea’s before this gathering, but chances are we will return on our own to try some of the other offerings on the menu.

This is a reliable Greek restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and lots to enjoy on the traditional menu. Andrea is an old-school owner who turns on the charm, making chivalric comments when I go with my wife(somewhat more aloof when I went on my own) — all part of the entertainment!

The food was a bit expensive but very nice. The proprietor was very friendly and invited us to go back in the evening for drinks so we did and enjoyed free appetisers.

All of the food that we ordered was delicious, which included a smattering of appetizers. The atmosphere quiet and chic and the service was particularly good – the waitress was sweet and attentive, although it appeared to be a slow Friday evening.

Cozy, hip, relaxing. All words that describe Andreas. Although I probably wouldn’t do the meze again, everything that hit our table was excellent. The Greek wine we shared was good as well. Definitely a great place if you want to spend a few hours unwinding from a busy day.

We had a long, leisurely dinner here. Loved this small, hip space and thought the food was delicious. We had the meze, which was good but not something I’d recommend unless you really, really love meat and have a bottomless pit for a stomach. Next time, I’d order a smattering of things to share instead. They didn’t have much by the glass wine, but the bottle list was affordable. We had a great bottle of Greek white wine produced by monks(how can you go wrong with that?).
