Do you crave a little bit of guilt with your beauty regimen? If so, I’ve got just the place for you…
A grandmotherly woman will take your cash then probably shame you for waiting so long in between sessions. Then you’ll sit awkwardly, slouched down and leaning back on a chair that doesn’t recline, while she threads your face. Definitely expect lots of disapproving looks if you flinch, tear up, or need a sneeze break.
My flatmate recommended this place to me and I kind of like it. It’s a bit out of the way down Whitechapel High Street, but it’s got to be the cheapest threading in town. Eyebrows for £6, chin or lip for £3.50.
I’m pretty sure this woman hates me though.

absolute nightmare should be avoided at all cost. owner’s are rude thieves. the lady who does all the work (owner) suits her convenience. it is not what you have paid for or your comfort. it’s all about her arms twisting .05 degrees more and she has a problem. very pircey for really bad low class service. they take the money before they serve you as they must have had so many bad experiences of people being upset with there very bad service. i also got my legs waxed and she couldn’t get the hair out after trying 4 times and left it when i complained she said do it yourself was generally very rude through out and makes you feel like she is doing you a free favor. i will never go back and also report this parlor for rude owner who asked me to get out and never come back in the end.

I came here with two friends to get my eyebrows threaded after deciding not to risk another subpar job at Angel Beauty Salon just down the street. The woman who did our brows took longer than I’m used to, but she was thorough and didn’t leave any redness/stray hairs behind. She did a great job on my friends’ eyebrows, though she didn’t manage to even mine out (they tend to grow lopsided). It wasn’t the best brow job I’ve ever had, but for £6, it was good enough to go back again.
