Archway Motors

I had my car MOT done at Archway Motors, I was told it failed due to a leaking oil sump, the price quoted to fix the sump and pass my MOT was in excess of £400. I also asked if I needed a service and was told that I required a medium service which would cost over £600. I told Archway Motors not to carryout the work or service as I wanted to get a second opinion. After ending the call I was called back within 5 minutes to say there had been a mistake and the mechanic had wrongly diagnosed the problem and in fact there was nothing wrong with my car at all and in fact it had passed my MOT. Further to this they had checked my oil and said there was no need to even do a basic service as the oil was clean. Make your own assumptions from this but I certainly won’t be going anywhere near this company again!
