I live in California and ordered flowers to be delivered on my friend’s birthday(she lives in London) a couple of days later, and the date and time frame was confirmed in an email from the company. Because I had ordered the flowers, I waited with contacting my friend, as I wanted the flowers to be a complete surprise and thought of them as my birthday greeting. Imagine my surprise when my friend calls me the day AFTER her birthday and thanks me for the flowers she just received. had not notified me that the flowers were running a day late, and thus I didn’t know to call my friend and let her know a delayed gift was on its way. A delay can happen, I understand that, but it is unacceptable that I wasn’t notified about it, even by email, since I live in CA. It makes me look like a bad friend who didn’t bother remembering the exact date of her birthday, or who didn’t bother getting the flowers delivered on time. Also, the company’s «100% customer satisfaction» they promise on their web site is hogwash. They offered me first a 15% refund(the order was about 50 pounds), and when I asked for a 50% refund, they came back with 25%. That would have been fine if the flowers had just been delayed, but I also was not notified about it, which really is terrible customer service.

I ordered Valentine’s Day flowers for my girlfriend in Oxford. But Arenaflowers did not deliver on Feb 14. I called the customer service trying to cancel my order but the woman answering the phone was in really bad attitude. I was trying to explain my reason to cancel the order, but she kept saying it was my fault as I tried to change the delivery address on Valentine’s Day(my girlfriend has another address which is easier to deliver). I specifically left my girlfriend’s phone number for them to call in case any problem with the delivery but they never even try to contact us. I have already filed a formal consumer complaint with OFT.

Before you use this service, please read all the negative reviews here. I wish I had. I ordered flowers for my fiancé from , I paid, and all I got for my trust in this company was a refund, and a disappointed fiancé. I ordered roses, and a little stuffed bear to be delivered to her work. I was in California at the time, and she in UK. When I woke up the next day, there was an email, saying that they didn’t have the bear. Okay, fine; no bear. I told Stephanie(the sales contact), to just refund the money for the bear, no problem. She insinuated in the email that the rest of the order was on its way. But in reality, what this Stephanie did was CANCELTHEWHOLEORDER at the last minute! She actually thought that that was the right thing to do! Can you believe it? A huge part of this company’s business, is sending flowers, to women, from men. And this is the type of business decisions they make, in regard to that service. What a bunch of baboons! I know teenagers that make better decisions! Needless to say I was furious. I think it was the fact that it was Friday, and Stephanie just couldn’t be bothered to put in the extra three seconds to think about what was the right thing to do, so she just blew it off to make life easier for herself. Either that, or she is just a complete idiot. This is a sad excuse for a merchandise/retail/service company… Thanks for reading. Good luck!

Really impressed by the quality of this flower service. Ordered online in the evening and the bouquet was delivered complete with a text to tell me it was bang on time the following morning. I saw the flowers several days later when I went to visit and they were still in top condition I think they source the flowers direct from Holland so they are super fresh. Don’t think I’ll be using the local shop for flowers any more!
