Very tasty food; great prices and excellent service. As close as you’ll get to the Middle East in Wimbledon. Abdullah, the main cook, has good taste in Lebanese music with respect to traditions of Fairouz and Marcel Khalife — and he knows the Beirut pop beats of Nancy Ajram as well. A respectable establishment that I shall frequent from this day onwards. My standards with Lebanese food are high, and Aya has met the very highest in food quality. The only downside is that this outlet of Aya is a small«hole-in-the-wall» concept, and has a few small tables. Better for takeaway.

I have been to this place 3 times in the evening which is always humming with a busy atmosphere, today Friday I went for lunch. They have a lunch time menu which is good value at £6.95 for a meze. My Bestie had the shawarma meal consisting of lamb, Salad, Rice and hummus. The lamb shawarma had a fab taste, full of flavour. It was very quiet somewhat different to the evenings which kind of left the ambience a little flat. The décor is ok, service good.

Aya is an authentic Lebanese experience. The chicken and meat Touk’s are the best I have eaten. Beats the Lebanese places on Edgeware Road. Delicious!
