For a company specialising in meatballs I was expecting so much better, proper meatballs packed with flavour and covered in great sauces! This is far from it unfortunately! We came in late one evening and managed to get a table(great service, at least!) and ordered between us pretty much most items on the menu. Noone was particularly impressed and we generally agreed things were a bit bland and for how much you get, pretty expensive. The best item we had were the truffle honey arancini which I’d happily order again. But the meatballs? No thanks! When friends have asked for my thoughts, I’ve generally just said: buy a pack of premade meatballs from the shop and a jar of Dolmio — you’d be far more satisfied!

I was so unimpressed with the meatballs. Both the pork and the beef didn’t have enough flavour for me and looked really unappetising. I also don’t think it’s minced beef should be pink in the middle, but I know some people like it are willing to risk food poisoning! Also it’s pretty pricey for the amount you get. However, some of my friends really enjoyed it so give it a shot if you fancy!

My co-workers and I started a lunch club and balls and company was our first official meal. Let’s be honest what really motivated us(in addition to trying the food) was all the jokes and puns we could make about the restaurant(I mean there’s an ice cream parlour next door called lick — endless laughter) Speciality, as you can guess, are balls. They come by 4 and you can chooose from chicken, beef, pork, salmon and beetroot/feta. We were not blown away by the balls. The pork ones were really good though. I was most impressed with the sides: polenta crisps and mini tomatoes filled with goat cheese(really really good). The sauces were delicious and they have a very impressive cocktail list(not long but well though: the gin/matcha cocktail is one of the best I had in London). No queuing but we went there at 2pm.

Cozy place that is quite loud but service is very good. The meatball selection is interesting as are the accompanying sauce selection. I was happy to see the veggie option, four QUINOA beetroot & feta balls with the PESTO basil, lemon, garlic, cashew nuts. We also got a hearty green salad for the table with a light, delicious vinaigrette. My friends and husband got several varieties of the meatballs and all raved about them. I would return.

Adorable new concept restaurant following the trend of meatball shops that have sprung up around the globe. The restaurant is very small and does not take reservations for groups smaller than 7 so I would anticipate a bit of a wait. Luckily the pub across the street allows people waiting for balls and company to order drinks and take them across the street. We waited for about 30 minutes before getting seated which was not bad at all. We went with the pork, chicken, salmon, and wagyu with a combo of sauces. For sides we went all beige, choosing the polenta chips, thick cut chips, spaghetti and the mashed potatoes. Of the meatballs the pork and the wagyu were by far the best. The salmon was nothing special, and was a bit dry. As far as the sauces went the béchamel and the plain tomato were my favorite. As for the sides the mashed potatoes were heavenly, definitely some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever tried. Spaghetti was nothing special, and I would pass on ordering this next time. The polenta fries and thick cut chips were also tasty, especially when paired with the dipping sauces :)

My flatmates recently took me here for my birthday, what a treat! This little restaurant on Greek Street does not take reservations but 100% worth the wait. We arrived and were told a table of 5 would be about 40 mins so we got drinks and waited outside, they table cleared up a bit earlier than we expected, but they allowed us to bring out drinks in which was so great. The concept is simple, they have 5 different types of balls(4 meat and 1 veggie) you pick your accompanying sauce and then sides. We ordered all meat, waygu with bechamel, pork with pesto, chicken with pesto, waygu with the classic tomato and the salmon with romenesco. For sides we had the polenta chips on special, regular fat cut chips, spaghetti and the mashed potatoes. The chips were served with aioli and ketchup. You are doing yourself a diservice if you dont get the waygu with bechamel, oh dear lord it was amazing, I have been thinking about since I had it. I had the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream topped with candy floss. It not only looked amazing, but it was so rich, gooey, and the perfect combo. I cant put my finger on what the candy floss flavour was, but something between vanilla and milk. Also a very nice touch was«happy birthday» written in chocolate on my plate. The service was very attentive, friendly and they made me a drink that wasnt on the menu, which I also appreciated. Its very small and you can see into the kitchen which was spotless. Also for those of you as immature as me, so many«balls» jokes to be made… 100% will be back

Like the name suggests, here it’s all about the balls ! The concept is interesting especially because most of their suppliers are mostly family run. They care very much in the premium products they use in order to create top notch tasty meatballs ! You have different flavors of meatballs and different flavors of sauces, making it a fun and diverse possibilities of combination ! YUMMY My favorite was the Wagyu ball served with the Romesco sauce(red pepper, tomato, almond, hazelnuts & garlic) The chicken thyme, lemon & dijon with the Pesto sauce was also divine with the little hint of cashew nuts(careful if you have any allergies there!) If the balls are not enough, you can order a few sides, the green veggies are always a good choice. MONEYMONEYMONEY Meatballs(served in 4) are £8 with a sauce(of choice) Side is £4 each Dessert £5 WHAT I LIKE — Even with meatballs you have veggie option. You can try the Quinoa beetroot and feta meatball

Balls. I just love ‘em. So I couldn’t wait to get down to this new gaff in Soho. Looks like I’m not the only one, as we got here at midday — bang on opening — and it was full(half a dozen tables) within an hour. Was greeted(with parsnip crisps!) by a lovely lady and got to sit right by the action, next to kitchen. Nice and simple menu with a specials menu, which we are told is changed regularly. We went for the Pork & Romesco sauce, Chicken & Pesto, and Salmon & Bechamel(see pic). Personally, I only really fell for the Pork & Romesco, but my two dinner chums opted for the other two, so something for everyone! The balls come in a cute individual pan, which makes them look rather small, but they are more filling than they look. One of the special sides was a pea & ricotta salad which was lovely and light, a great accompaniment to the warm and meaty pork. I would visit again for the friendly service and to try out some of the specials.

Cool concept, similar to the Meatball Shop in NY, and I like the simple menu they had during Soft Launch(50% off the menu if you go this week) Your choice of meatballs: Wagyu Beef Chicken Pork Salmon Quinoa and Beetroot Sauces: Bechamel Pesto Romesco Tomato Each order(£8) included 4 meatballs and you can’t mix and match but they’re pretty small anyway so we ordered one of each except the Salmon. We enjoyed the Beef and Quinoa and Beetroot the most, especially with the perfectly made Pesto sauce. The Pork had a delicious addition of pinenuts, but the Chicken was the most underwhelming of the bunch. Solid place overall.
