Bannatyne’s Health Club

On one hand this gym is relatively small, cheap and cheerful, but for the price I pay (£39 monthly, no contract) I actually enjoy it much better than much more expensive gyms I have been to. Why? 1) The trainers. They are friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to give advice. Rex and Lukas deserve particular shout outs. 2) the atmosphere is chilled out and there is usually enough equipment to go around. 3) the pool area is actually quite nice, with great lighting and hygienic maintenance. How could it be made better? Assuming more space is not within scope, I’d like to see the freeweights refreshed as some are showing their age, and maybe a second set of some of the more commonly used ones would ease the need to share. But overall, a good gym for the price.

Staff are even more on the ball, some new equipment has been added and no drain smell for quite some time now in the locker room.
