Good lesbian bar in Soho, mix of ages and crowds. Real gay women’s bar, nearly all women there. Drinks are really cheap on Tuesdays. Crowded on the weekends.

I really like Bar Titania. Or rather, I want to really like Bar Titania. I came here for the first time last night at around 10.30pm. At that time on a Saturday night I would have expected it to be a bit busier — given it’s location near Soho. It’s nicer than I thought inside. Similar — but different to it’s neighboring MANBAR it has murals on the walls(no naked Prince Harry but some sort of Fairy like thing). There’s plenty of space downstairs and a platform area above with a pool table(a classic lesbian bar staple). It’s got some amazing potential for some awesome parties. The bar staff were soo lovely. The bar manager overheard my friend mentioning it was my birthday and let me know you get a free cocktail on my birthday.(Just a shame it was a week ago and I’m just still miking it). It was just a shame that the one drink I purchased — a daiquiri — happened to be the worst cocktail I’ve ever had. Really. The time it took to get it I was wondering if they were growing the limes fresh for it. Then when I tasted it it was really really — not nice. Apparently Bar Titania opened in January and advertises itself as a «Women and guests cocktail bar.» Take of that what you will — Prices are as you would expect on the Charing Cross Road, but as the bar also offers food in the daytime and a roast of a Sunday I will definitely be back and hopefully have a reason to up these stars.
