My favorite pizza! I always ask for pepperoni and jalapeños! I’m actually gonna order some shortly, I’ll take a picture! It’s just sooo gooood…

Best pizza ever !! Staff very friendly and good prices. It’s been 6 month I’m going there often and I’ve never been disappointed !

I found the service from Mat the manager to be disgraceful. I ordered a delivery on Saturday night and when the food arrived it was cold. i contacted the store and informed the gentleman who answered the call about the cold food. He insisted that he was having a problem with the driver. He informed me that he would speak to his manager and get back to me. No phone call back so I took it upon myself to call them. I spoke with Mat The Manager and he said that the weather is cold so he did not know what to do. I explained that I myself are in the catering industry and that cold food is not acceptable and he said, in a sarcastic tone Well the next time you order i will give you a small discount
Mat, keep your discount and in future i will go to tesco and get my own pizza.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT these guys are obviously so busy that they don’t need to keep their customers happy, do not order from these clowns. They have no idea how to run a business
Mat, if you read this, the internet is a great tool for sourcing equipment. Try this out, this should keep your pizzas hot. Its a small investment to keep the integrity of your food to a servable standard

We ordered pizza from Base Pizza which delivered two piping hot large pizzas to us in about 45 minutes. Their large pizzas are really large, I think about 18 inches across, and stuffed four people to the gills. One was the Sorrentina, with red peppers, sun dried tomates, olives, aubergine and mozzarella, and the other was the Americana, with sausage, salami, pepperoni, chilli, peppers and mozzarella. They were on thin crusts and were actually quite tasty for delivery pizza — so much better than I was expecting. Strangely, they share a storefront with Xiong Mao (Chinese) on Essex Road.

Following a rather lazy day on Sunday, well, I say lazy — I rode 200 miles around Essex on a motorbike with some mates — so had little chance for getting some food in. Base Pizza to the rescue!
They provide superb, thin crust, extra tasty, extra large pizza’s that are a godsend when you’ve just got nothing at home.
They also do mix n match pizza, so ordered a 18″ with Ti Amo on one half and Fantasia on the other — splendid
Can’t say enough about the taste, size and quality. Maybe I was starving, maybe I had not had delivered pizza for ages, but whatever the reason, i was thoroughly enjoyed this dough based treat from the man on the little moped (who complimented my motorbike btw)
