Great for a sociable night out. Good music, good cocktails and amazingly efficient staff — I don’t know how they put cocktails together so fast! There can be a queue if you get there late at the weekend. Download the app and make the most of the 2 for 1 offer!

Not being a cocktail enthusiast, the main redeeming feature of many such bars in London is their uniqueness. So a bland chain cocktail bar is unlikely to get my particular blend of juices flowing, no matter how many tiny umbrellas you put in it!
Bartender was super friendly though and advised us on an app download which gave us our own personalised happy hour so five stars to him! Cocktails still seemed too expensive to me though even with this trick!

Nice bar, cocktails were lovely and the two for ones were great.
The staff were very friendly, but rather TGI Friday come Coyote Ugly, throwing ice, banging on the bar, getting in our photos (which we noticed the next day, but we could crop them out). Quite funny, if you’re 20, not so funny if your 21 onwards.
But, nice bar and there is no way your could fault their enthusiasm and cocktail making skills.

I have a love/​hate relationship with this place.
I like beer.
And any bar or club I go to needs to have beer on tap (or interesting/​unique bottled beer) for me to really enjoy myself.
Unfortunately, B@1 only serves up cocktails, and has a small supply of bottled/​canned beers. The first time I went there, I ordered a Guinness and was not very pleased to find:
1. A can of barely chilled Guinness
2. A small cocktail glass
3. A 5£ bill
Needless to say i did not order any more drinks that night.
Howwweeever, I also like good music and dancing. And B@1 consistently has good, if not excellent, music choice and is a fun place to dance.
So, if you like cocktails and good music, come here. If you aren’t that fond of dancing and like beer, avoid this place like the plague, you will not have a good time. If you like both, toe the line like I do.
