I eat indian all the time at many restaurants both here in London and any where else I can find it. I have brought many friends and family to Rickshaw. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. I think one of the reasons is the food is cooked fresh … nothing is left in a pot, or under lights, you wait they prepare it arrives and it is always without exception delicious. The waiters are exemplary, helpful, knowledgable and guide you to discover things you would never dare try.

An Indian restaurant on beautiful Battersea Square aiming for the upmarket sector. The menu is small, but varied. Sadly, for someone who doesn’t do super spicy, and who asked about things being hot or not, the food was fiery(to my taste). Yummy crab cakes for a starter, but I couldn’t finish my biriyani due to the heat. Everyone enjoyed the mixed variety of poppadoms(small, large, and seeded) and homemade chutney at the beginning of the meal and others liked their mains quite well. A decent place, but for the price we all expected a lot more.
