Good selection of aussie breakfast food(I believe its aussie, it was different anyway!). I went for a baked egg in tomato and pepper sauce, and very much enjoyed it.

Solid«independent» feeling coffee shop(aka not Starbucks, pret, Costa etc) in broadgate. Good stop on the way to or from Liverpool street station. Macchiato was on point. Bacon breakfast wrap was full of spinach and a nice spicy sauce, but at £5 a little steep. Pastries looked good and they appeared to serve drinks later in the day. What’s wit coffee shops also serving hip drinks these days? Anyway if in need of some coffee and a bite to eat, highly recommended shop.

I went to Beany Green for a meeting and really enjoyed my first experience of the place. Perusing the cake stand as I always do, I was immediately drawn to the BLOODYENORMOUS slabs of Rocky Road — and it was amazing. Huge, tasty and filling, I definitely had to take half back to the office to eat later on. Staff were friendly and helpful with providing me a takeaway bag. As well as my cake, I also had a hot chocolate which was well made — smooth and velvety chocolate greatness! We sat outside, where there were seemingly free bananas out and about for people to grab — which was definitely a nice touch. With a view out over Broadgate Circle, it’s a great place to nip in for a business meeting or just a break from the office.

Some of the best smoothies in London and award-winning homemade bread. Try their gluten free coconut bread or their banana bread for a healthy rewarding breakfast, their vegan nut or caffeine hit smoothies or their raw power ball. So much love for this spot.

Beany Green, Broadgate Circle — Beany Green is about the coffee, vibrant healthy food and some spoil-yourself desserts. From a small coffee kiosk, which started in 2012, Beany Green has now opened its flagship café at Broadgate Circle. Beany Green came from an inspiration of a former UBS investment banker, Australian born Prue Freeman. How? Very simply, because she was fed up of having boring lunches and mediocre coffee on her desk. Firstly, let’s talk coffee. At Beany Green’s it is the exclusive house blended Aussie coffee; hand roasted by the Roasting Party, whom is coincidently a fellow Aussie as well. Their single origin filter coffee changes on a daily basis. And when you need something more than just coffee, try their coffee cocktail. I didn’t have any but there were quite a few others who loved it. Secondly, it is the food. Topnotch ingredients which are prepared in-house and varies on a daily basis. The salads are full of super power ingredients from the robust beetroot colour to the gemstone-like pomegranate seeds to the dynamic greenness of sugar snap peas, Beany Green’s salad are full of vim. Flavour wise, I feel it still needs a little work. However you can rest assured that you will find their gluten-free broccoli bread, poached eggs and tofu mayonnaise, award-winning banana bread sandwich and a Full Bondi(full English breakfast plus avocado & lemon). A proper Melbourne style for brunch. After all that savoury goodness make sure there is room for this killer brownie. A crusty top sprinkled generously with cocoa powder and a bite into a dense and gooey middle is the right texture for a brownie. It definitely needs the boldness of cocoa. Beany Green is on the other side of Liverpool Street — Broadgate Circle. The area is smart, filled with white collar workers in smart office suits. The interior exudes the smartness with the playful cheeky pop art pieces that fill the wall spaces. A rather smart place to meet for after work drinks but for me, I rather like the thought of popping in for a glass of prosecco and watch the people scurrying below.

I love my coffee and they do a mean one. Great selection of fresh and healthy foods. Is slightly pricey and in some ways the team come across as a little disorganised, however all really friendly.

The new Broadgate Circle development looks pretty amazing, and just by chance my friend and I decided to go to Beany Green, which is apparently known for its amazing espresso cocktails. Everything was really new and still a work in progress — for example, the Broadgate website said that Beany Green closes at 6:30PM, but we showed up at 6:29 and asked, and it really closes at 9:30PM. We asked for a drinks menu, but they said that was coming in Friday. And we tried to pay by Amex, but that won’t be up and running until next week. That said, the staff was exuberantly helpful(especially in listing off every drink they could possibly serve), and throughout our time there, they brought over free porchetta and cheddar toasties that totally hit the spot. I would have ordered a plate if I could, but we were told that it was for tasters only. We sat at one of their outside tables with a bottle of Australian white wine, looking down into the circle, where the newly opened The Botanist had drawn a large crowd of outdoor standing drinkers. I also noticed Shoryu, Comptoir Lebanais, and Aubaine, all great restaurants that I have visited in other parts of London. The bathroom was down the stairs and down a corridor that smelled like fresh paint, but I was also kindly directed there by another friendly staff member. The whole place is so great; I can tell that I will be spending a lot of time there this summer.
