This shop is a true institution in Brick Lane. Even from the outside, you can get a feeling that once in you will be transported to a forgotten time, with all sorts of knick knacks. Also this shop is known for a tam of seamstress-designers, Annie and Kerry, these girls are the team that work and rework old pieces of clothing into new creations, and they are damn good at it. They also have a special bespoke service, which I think can make a great gift. You can come in with you’re dads suit and they will rework the piece to make it, say, a nice skirt for you. Isn’t that a cool way to have a piece of your heritage modernized but still, its your dads suit.

Beedell Coram is an antique junk hole. From a distance this place looks as if it has some glorious items to offer. Up close it’s another matter. Their china, rusty old spoons and deteriorating vintage magazines are in need of some serious restoration. Their products are quite bizarre too. There are old stuffed partridge statues that only psychotic serial killer huntsmen would dare display in their homes. Um… no thank you.
