I had an absolutely appalling experience at the Benefit Brow bar in Carnaby Street today. The treatment I received was horrendous. My eyebrows were overwaxed. The waxing lady literally took off my eyebrows. How can someone so unprofessional be put in charge of eyebrow treatment? it’s outrageous. I am terrified with the results. I now have to wait for several months for my eyebrows to grow back. I will never come back to this place again.

This is a busy place and full of the usual Benefit fun. The bough — brow bar is what impressed me, with an efficient and useful consulation and treatment. I am a fan of benefit anyway — its just kitsch enough and not as full on as MAC. I would recommend this place to treat any of the ladies in your life, but as I went here for brows that’s what I will return for again. The downstairs area is for other treatments so I will likely head back there when I can brace Carnaby St again. Well done Benefit!

I popped in here while in town and decided to have my brows fixed after my Portland experience. I got a girl name Jade and she ended up doing a beautiful wax job. I normally don’t like wax because I’m always afraid they’re going to take out too many hairs but it ended up looking beautiful and now I have a much better shape which will be easier to keep groomed on my own. At only £12, I think it was the ultimate London bargain!
