you’re diffidently not paying for class or elegant when you walk into this lacklustre restaurant… though it can be understood as it’s located in tottenham… but saying this i loved the food. it’s quick, tasty and full of MSG! perfect for those nights when you can’t be bothered cooking… as well as delicious tasting, the meal portions are generous and the prices are affordable… though the restaurant feels a little stale and tacky, the service is wonderful and the staff are friendly… worth a try if you live around the area… would i go back? 100%

This place is a little gem. A little hidden gem, tucked away along Philip Lane. There aren’t many good places to eat in Tottenham, unless you’re a massive fan of chicken and chips. And if you’re a vegetarian, forget it. But Big Bowl Noodle is just the ticket. The portions are so big that it feels like you signed up to an all-you-can-eat buffet. And the prices are pleasingly low. For £4.50-£5.50, you’ll get yourself a massive main course — fresh noodle soup, or the old favourites of sweet & sour, black bean, curry sauce, satay… Plenty for the meat-eaters, but also, I’m happy to say, lots of vegetables and tasty tofu for the veggies. It has a really nice Chinese canteen feel when you eat in, with long tables and benches for a friendly, communal feel. And the owners are lovely. Seems like it’s run by a family, which also adds to the homely atmosphere. Currently my top choice of local eat-in or take-away.
