I had an amazing dinner. The staff is very welcoming. I instantly felt like home ! This is a small family restaurant: the atmosphere is cosy and warm. The chef is Italian and trust me, you will feel the difference ! The dishes are truly tasty. The portions are generous and the wine is good. The owner is a lovely person. This restaurant is the best in the earls court area. I strongly recommend !!

Was going to have a pub meal across the road but decided to move on after being made to feel decidedly unwelcome by bar staff who wanted me to move to make way for larger group. Glad I did because I crossed over to Benito’s. Lovely meal. Whitebait followed by spaghetti vongole with perfectly decent half bottle of valpolicella. Cheap but very good. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. What’s not to like? Mental note to self — small restaurant over pub meal any day.

I guess I was too early for the atmosphere.. No pizza in an italian joint. Asked for something that this place did as an italian specialty. I ended up with veal schnitzel A bit disappointing, but it was nice and a very generous serve of spaghetti bolognase

Ordered bruschetta to start. Someone forget the basil or any other herb. Pale tomato pieces with no flavor. I usually judge a place by their bruschetta. Unfortunately, this worked again. House wine in Italy is always good. This was barely drinkable. Tasted like a really cheap wine. The tagliatelle verdi was okay… al dente. But sauce was ordinary… not especially fresh or rich. I expected better from a place where the servers spoke fluent Italian. My bad assumption. Left as soon as we could. Skipped desert, espresso and limoncello.

This restaurant has wonderful food and a very attentive staff! We had five days in London and ate dinner there twice. It’s a cozy little Italian place that you won’t forget…

Nice authentic Italian food, although surprisingly there was no pizza on the menu. Good value though, £25 for two main courses with drinks.

God Almighty — how did anyone give this place more than 2 stars? Did we go to the same location one wonders. It is run by the family that owns it. The service is only tolerable, the loos are a mile away(not dirty — but they’re not spotless either) and the place is very cramped. The Food? The food is dire. My calves liver was tough it was so over-cooked and it was served with served with back bacon out of a plastic packet! My wife’s Bolognese went back to the kitchen with two mouthfuls consumed, and my friends Osso Bucco(one slice!!) was served on a bed of BOILEDRICE !! When he complained the owner told him that they were geared for tourists who didn’t know it should be served on risotto and they never came back anyway! Anyone who thinks that this is authentic Italian food simply doesn’t know what they are talking about. Worst Italian restaurant I have ever ventured into anywhere in the world. And for you doubters — we went a second time to confirm that that was not a «bad day» when first we visited — it wasn’t. Dire absolutely dire.

Excellent Italian food, cooked and served by what certainly feels like the family that owns the place. Very small place that is densely packed with tables. We were fortunate to have a table in the back so we didn’t have too much foot traffic. Unfortunately, this meant that the extremely loud family of 12 at the other table was, uh, extremely loud. Once they left, things got back to normal. Great waitress who really wanted to make sure that we had a good time. Her recommendations were spot on. I started with the tri-colore salad, which was a large half avocado with a good portion of fresh mozzarella cheese and sliced tomatoes. Perhaps the tomatoes were just a bit off today, but it was still very good. For main, I went with the veal marsala. Absolutely excellent. Easy to cut into pieces with my fork, I found I was scooping up the last of the sauce with the excellent bread. We were all too well stuffed for desserts, though they did look excellent. If you’re looking for good Italian in the Earl’s Court part of town, go here! I would absolutely return.

Good food and great service. The portions are large and well priced, seemingly authentic dishes. The place is always packed, often with large groups. It can be a bit cramped inside when that’s the case.

Spent the Christmas holiday in London with my wife and three sons. WE were frankly a little burned out on pub food by the time we stumbled across Bistro Benito. It was by far the best dining experience we had in London, not only because of the reasonably priced, authentic food, but because the staff of this place was professional, fun, and incredibly friendly. When we walked in we were made to feel like family! Very good pasta, veal, deserts, and a reasonably(for London) priced list of decent Italian wines. Will definitely return if we are back in town, would highly recommend

This is a solid choice for Italian food near Earl’s Court. The fresh artichoke starter drenched in a creamy vinaigrette was especially yummy, and our main courses were good. The staff here are friendly, but the tables are really close together, so it’s definitely not a «romantic» choice. Also, the place gets bonus points because when my husband managed to spill the better half of a bottle of sparkling water all over the floor, the waiters laughed with us, rather than making us feel like the klutzes that we are.

This cozy family restaurant serves large portions of excellent Italian dishes at reasonable prices. Even if it’s your first visit, the staff will greet you like an old friend, and by the time you leave you’ll feel like you are one. We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. I recommend any of the pasta dishes(you’ll find yourself mopping up every last bit of sauce on your plate), the pork shank is especially good, and they have a decent house wine. Make sure you leave room for dessert. This isn’t the place for a romantic rendezvous or people who prefer to be left alone. Tables are very close to each other, so you’ll probably find yourself socializing with the diners on either side of you during your meal.

Benitos is a casual authentic Italian restaurant with excellent service, good food, and cheap prices. It looks small from the outside, and can be quite cozy on the inside, while you share elbow space with the table beside you. However, the cramped interior is more than made up for by the service, food and friendly diners. The staff keeps an eagle eye on the door and by the time you get it open, someone is there, taking you immediately to a table. I had dinner here tonight while stopping in London for a few days on the way back from Saudi Arabia. Since I have been craving pasta for so long, I opted to keep things simple with a cup of homemade tomato soup and spaghetti with tomatoes, garlic and clams. The tomato soup was good and fresh, though I think it could have had more depth to the flavor. The spaghetti and clams were excellent — toothy pasta with tons of flavor. The only drawback was that some of the clam shells were broken, which necessitated some careful chewing and picking out pieces of broken shell. All of the food came piping hot and there was plenty of bread to soak up the soup and pasta sauce with. The best part was that if you ask for chili or for the sauce to be a bit spicy, the waiter will bring out their chili-infused olive oil that you can apply yourself. To top it off, there is a considerable dessert cart to tempt you after dinner. I plan to eat here again!
