Mice running around shop and very rude managers. The coffee is fairly standard – nothing particularly special or unique.

Got a small cappuccino and it tasted great(Not burned beans). Not watered down and the amount was right.

The coffee is delicious — doesn’t get much better. BUT it’s expensive and the wait time can be horrendous. I’ve waited for 15 minutes before. Highly recommend if you aren’t in a rush!

Black Sheep opened with the objective of challenging the traditional coffee scene with their«Robusta Revival». Robusta coffee beans are less acidic but far more bitter than other species and makes for a very new experience indeed! One of the things I enjoy most about coffee is the smell and robusta simply… doesn’t smell like coffee, which was really strange and quite disorientating at first. I did enjoy the taste though, and it truly was unlike anything else I had ever try. So if you’re a bit of a coffee connoisseur, Black Sheep’s definitely a must-go!

It was fine. The coffee was passable if somewhat burnt, ditto the milk being lightly scalded. The quiche seemed a bit old – but again was filling and flavorful. The location is great, the place was comfortable and the staff lovely. I imagine I hit them on an off morning, and there is a lot of potential there.

Lovely strong coffee. Cakes are well priced, but it’s the salads and the quiches which really set this part above the average coffee shop. Interesting flavours and under a fiver. So happy black sheep has moved into the area.
