Fabulous little local residing in the heart of Lesbian-ville, Stoke Newington.
Its small ground floor bar betrays the extent of the sizable basement area, which includes a pool table and access to a fair size (concrete) beer garden.
It’s not really the kind of place you’d go for a boogie, but it’s perfect for a drink with your friends or other half any day of the week; and it’s especially worth a visit on a Wednesday for their great Pub Quiz.
They do Sunday Roasts (not tried one yet, so I can’t comment on that) and the walls have changing art on display, often from local lesbian artists.
The staff are always really friendly and you can even pick up your local listing magazines from there whilst you grab your pint.
