Amy:The London Independent hospital have a walk in service which is open from 8am-​8pm Monday-​Friday and 8am-1.30pm, they will be happy to perform the blood test you require as long as you can take a copy of your referral or request form with you. You:I have already told you that this is the service I am trying to contact. My specialist was faxing request fir blood test. I need yo know it has been received before attending the clinic. Amy:Do you have a copy of the request? If so, you can take this along to the walk in service. Unfortunately I cannot confirm if the request has been received. The BMI London Independent is a very good hospital. I know it is private health care but to me this is how you should be treated on the NHS. The old adage of getting what you pay for is very true here.
The staff in reception and administration were all very helpful and polite. Do not get me wrong I have met some very polite and hard working (over worked) medical professionals in the NHS but this place is full of them.
My consultant was a very knowledgeable gentleman, who true to his word, performed my procedure without a hitch. I know going private does not guarantee this but it did make me feel that would be the ultimate outcome.
The day of the actual surgery went without a hitch from the moment I arrived to the moment I left the hospital.
I would say that hospital food still leaves something to be desired but the food I got here was at least edible

The service here is almost ridiculously good — everyone is SO nice all the time. I guess this is because they have to justify why you’re paying instead of NHSing. I just needed a chest X ray for an pre-​employment medical screening and they were extremely efficient. Highly recommended if you need this kind of thing done quickly.
