One of the most fun clubs in the Chelsea area. Their dinners are fabulous — Austrian food and great wine. Loved the music too. Perfect mix of all the bet music that makes you get up and dance. Great cocktails too! Club could be a bit bigger would be my only slight complaint but otherwise an amazing venue. Check it out!

Cozy. Cozy and cozy and fun are the words for this club. It is the most fun club to go to. The alpine ski theme with the cows and Bavarian interior gives new light to the London nightlife scene with the typical cliché French themed venues. The photo booth, complimentary shots on ski trays and cowbells make it feel like you are in the middle of the Alps. The crowd is always filled with young affluent professionals. A great club for the winter times and midsummer! Recommend visiting there on Thursday. Also great location in the heart of Chelsea by hiking street Kensington. Amazed!

Bodo’s was the perfect venue for our son’s 18th birthday. Both old and young thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the beautiful room, and a long table to sit nearly 40 guests. Diego was a great host that got the party started, and there was plenty of other staff to serve food and drink. Special recognition though to Julia Rawe the event organizer at Bodo’s, who worked tirelessly through her Christmas holiday to make sure everything that we needed was taken care of by Bodo’s. All round, I would highly recommend Bodo’s for an event, and eventful evening!

My family and I finished our 10 day trip to Europe with a meal at Bodo’s Schloss and it was the best dining experience of our trip! Bodo’s Schloss’s has an Austrian theme starting as you walk in off the street and expertly decorated within. However, the restaurant was decorated for Halloween inside and out! Our great experience began when the host accommodated us without a reservation. We took a seat at the bar while our table was prepared and the bartender helped us choose the right beverage. Once seated we ordered the warm pretzels which were very good. I had the veal schnitzel that was delicious while other members enjoyed The Schloss hamburger, macaroni and cheese and the chick schnitzel which they all enjoyed. Then we finished the evening with the warm chocolate and hazelnut brownie and the Knickerbocker Glory which we also very good. A highlight of the experience was the manager, Diego, that made us feel welcome. This was a fantastic restaurant top to bottom and I couldn’t be happier to recommend it!

Genius idea: to combine everything a person needs on a night out, throw in some amazing staff and the cutest and most detailed décor… You get this place. Food here is just the tastiest stuff I have had in a very long time. We ordered a steak sharing platter(this is definitely something you order for more than two people!) the chicken wings and the salad. The chicken wings… I can’t describe, the food was simply heavenly. Moreover, head chef is a lovely person, allowing us to eat despite arriving a little too late to order. Definitely very grateful for that, couldn’t see myself living a life of misery having never tried the magnificent steak. Hannah was also a delight and we are extremely grateful to have been put on her table. Very positive and charismatic person. On Wednesdays they also have a live band and those guys are great singers and musicians and really made our night something special. Love this place! Definitely will be back!

This was the cutest place! Very rustic and full of life! The waitresses were dressed up in lederhosen. This is a fairly new bar and restaurant. Service was amazing!

Bodo’s Schloss is a pretty fun place for a group outing. Service was good throughout the evening and I also enjoyed the food — there was a decent charcuterie plate and a large amount of schnitzel(with particularly delicious sauerkraut) and salmon with the £28 meal deal. We also got a cocktail to share which came in a massive golden goat. Most of the other people were also in large groups(it’s not a place for a quiet family dinner) and one group turned out to be a Danish football team(which explained why they were the 30 fittest men I’ve ever seen, all in one place at one time). Dancing therefore kicked off pretty quickly after the meals were over — it’s a bit of a crush unless you have a fit footballer protecting you* but the crowd was generally all right. As another reviewer said it might not been somewhere you’d come often but if you find yourself here just succumb to the tackiness and light-heartedness and you’ll have a good night! *yes

Oh what a night! Discovering this gem in the heart of the sough-after Kensington has been one of the best finds of the year for me and my colleagues. Feeling a bit sceptical about the whole Christmas company bash thing, we thought we wouldn’t last for deserts but oh boy was I wrong! The food was very good, comfort-y yet abundant. The staff was at all times friendly and professional with a big smile on their faces. And the Alpine rustic decorations: Supreme! They even had fake fireplaces in the room that created the illusion that you were in a true mountain lodge and some of the customers wore actual skiing garments which made it all so brilliant! What really made the evening was the ambience of joy and fun throughout. I you are looking for a fun and entertaining night with good food and a perfect location I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

Came for dinner on a Thursday(showed up at 8:00 with no res and got a high stooled table by the fireplace), then proceeded to close the place down. Def will be back, assume it would have been harder to get into on the weekend. My fellow American bro absolutely loved it. Pretty insane g to g ratio(best ever?). The Thursday night sax guy looks like a stupid gimmick on their instagram and it/he is, but he’s also really awesome gives the dance floor a great flavor when he comes on. The place isn’t as dripping with apres ski atmosphere as I had hoped, or maybe that was just because we had a dude waiter(5 stars) instead of a costumed female… Def threw more cash into the air than a bore like me is used to doing, Lagavulin was the cheapest whisky on offer, but that’s kind of wonderful if you love it.

Euh… Non…

If you’re looking for a place to drink and check out ladies this is fine. Don’t go here for the food though! Live band is cool– so the rating is for the food quality. Was expecting a bit more.

Das Essen war der Hammer. Diese Qualität hätte ich für österreichisches Essen London nicht erwartet. Der eine Stern fehlt für die laute Disco Musik im Nebenraum.

Really fun atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic fondue. The chicken salad was only OK and a friend ordered the potato puff pastry that was just large potato bits. FANTASTIC80s and 90s music but it wasn’t a club night so we didn’t experience the whole thing. I bet Wednesday — Saturdays are even more fun!

So came here for Love Brunch on April 7th… I’m still a fan of Bodo’s, but the Love Brunch was a bit disappointing… the music was meh, and the vibe was less fun than the last one at Cuckoo’s. Just a thought.

Wow, was my last review really in 2010?! I’m actually just back from this venue and the disgust I was met with while there forced me to return to Unilocal to write about my experience. This is a restaurant with a bar/club further inside which apparently gets quite packed out after certain hours. My boyfriend sent in a guest list of names for our party last night(which they claimed would not open on their computer) so we were expected. We were asked to arrive before 9:30 since our guest list was not received properly. Upon arrival we were taken to our booked seating area in the club section. We bought drinks and waited for the rest of the party. At 9:20 we received a phone call from friends outside the venue saying that they would not be let in. The event was for my boyfriend’s work leaving do, so he went to the front door to inform the staff that they were part of our party whose names we had sent in the night before. Those four people were denied access into the HALFEMPTY club. I took photographs of the venue to show that it was pretty much empty, even though they insisted to our friends that there was no more room inside. We had been recommended this venue for the leaving party by friends of this venue. We are all absolutely appalled and disgusted that FOUR people who had traveled a far distance to see off their work colleague were turned away from a venue that had less than half of it’s capacity filled. May I add 3 out of 4 were women(in the UK women are usually welcome in to most establishments and are hardly turned away). I would also like to point out that the drinks are overpriced for this type of establishment. Bottles of champagne going for £5600? I don’t think so! We sat in a group of about 10 and three of us had dropped more than £250 on drinks before our friends were denied entry. This extremely frustrating situation has left us feeling cheated out of a good night. Our friends who had came in with us were all so disappointed they went home, leaving my boyfriend and I to finish our drinks alone. Needless to say we will not be returning and do not recommend this venue to anyone. If you do plan on going here make sure you all turn up at the same time so that you can all go home together when you get turned away at the door before 9:30pm. And yes, the bitch IS back.(More reviews to come!)

Mixed feelings but overall a good experience although I do not intend to return for a least a year to be honest… more of a one-off sort of a place. First of all, this has an unusual feel with all staff dressed in traditional looking alpine dungaree shorts, plaited hair etc. The wooden interior is delightful and the lighting is well judged. £34.50 per person including starters, mains, plenty of beer, and the 15% service charge. The menu is very simple but the chips we ordered did not arrive. This was quickly resolved by the restaurant manager who insisted we do not pay for them, however, they were still on the bill, so the process for handling these issues needs work. Schitzel is not as good as what you may find in Vienna, but it was good enough, and I recommend the pork over the veal. Charcuterie at £9 seems a little over priced for what you get, they could at least have thrown in more than one pickle, but tasty nonetheless. House dumpling(with sausages) was delicious. After 10pm the whole place turns into a night club and maybe I do not go clubbing very often, but I thought the drinks prices were way over the top — £38 for 1 bottled of beer(no draught after 10pm) and 3 G&Ts and the quality was very standard… unlike some other places where you spend over £10 for a G&T and get something pretty special. Shots were £6 a pop, but they were larger than usual(is that actually a good thing???) The other issue with the clubbing bit is the atmosphere — the vibe is fine, don’t get me wrong, by atmosphere I mean the air that we breath… but what do you expect when everyone’s just been filling up on beer, sausage and sauerkraut? Kor-whiff!
