Boots

Seriously, it would be quicker to walk to one of the several boots at KCL and walk back than to actually get served here. Massive queues any time of day and completely incompetent staff. Don’t even consider if you need to quickly pick something up at the pharmacy.

I almost can’t believe that I am going to give a teeny Boots such a high rating… but the staff here were sooo helpful today!
I have a bit of a nasty cough (I don’t feel so bad, but my cough sounds all bronchitis-​y) so as I was buying painkillers and cough sweets, the pharmacist gave me lots of advice. She swapped my lemsip (she said my cough needed something with guaifenesin in…)
She then told me to go and buy some echinacea tea, to keep hydrated and too keep my chest warm (she even congratulated me for wearing ear muffs!) It was a bit like speaking to my mum or an aunty that cares about me… I appreciated her sweetness.
Anyway, this boots is really small, and it can be very slow if you plan to collect prescriptions from here — but at least the staff seem to care about their cough-​y customers.

Dont expect fast service at perception desk… I waited 15 minutes behind ONE person while they help every other person they happened to know. Including the man standing behind me, who she called by name (who definitely arrived at least 5 minutes after I did). Ugh, fix your customer service.
On the bright side, they were friendly. It’s a smaller Boots venue, but decent in supplies. They didn’t have the bamboo socks/​tights the last time I went, though… boo.

Im Außenbereich des Einkaufszentrum the Brunswick in Bloomsbury befindet sich auch eine Boots-​Drogerie. Der Eingang befindet sich an der Marchmont Street.
Das Ladenlokal sieht von außen etwas schäbig aus und auch innen ist diese Filiale eher klein. Das Angebot an Meal Deals ist klein, ebenso findet man hier kaum Kosmetik, sondern eigentlich nur Reisebedarf, Hygieneartikel sowie Arzneimittel. Personal ist normal freundlich.
Das große Shopping-​Erlebnis gibt es hier nicht. Dazu wäre wohl eher der Boots im Bahnhof St. Pancras oder im Bahnhof Liverpool Street zu empfehlen.
