I was at Bow boys between 1955 – 1959, the school uniform then was leather jackets and steel capped boots and i dont think a day went past without a fight, The headmaster was mr Cormode and the deputy head was mr King. I went back there in 1985 and couldn’t belive how much it had changed [for the better] Inow live in Australia, but thanks to the internet i can keep an eye on my old stomping ground, keep up the good work Bow boys.

This school was known for it’s problems, but around 7 years ago they brought in a new head and it has changed beyond recognitian. My son gos to this school and he is very bright and the school cannot do enough for him. They are an Arsenal double club school which means that they encourage the less bright children to learn maths, english and science with the added bonus of the football. Great
