burgers come in 4oz, 6oz or 8oz sizes on a brioche-style bun and you can add cheese or bacon for a bit more. You also choose a dipping sauce, I highly recommend the malt tarragon aioli. The sides really sealed it for me too — their fries and onion rings are amazing and all priced just under £4. They offer cheese and chili cheese varieties, but went for the Parmesan truffle fries and was not disappointed! The burger was perfectly cooked to medium rare and just the right juiciness. The toppings were fresh and the aioli complimented the Gruyère cheese that I added. The pricing is right too; £4.95, £6.95 and £8.95 for each sized burger respectively. When you think of Lebanese food, delicious burgers and diner-style eats aren’t the first, second or tenth thing that pop to mind. But this burger joint, originally from Beruit, does make a delicious burger! The way I discovered this little-hyped place was quite funny. I actually was in a queue at the time — a 2.5 hour queue for seats at Burger & Lobster — when my frustration with the wait(and my stomach) signaled a backup was needed. I meandered over to Wardour street and discovered my new favorite mid-market burger in London. I speak a little more in-depth about over at my site, . So check it out if you have time!

This place never disappoints. I discovered it initially when I was craving a burger and decided the 1.5 hour wait at Honest Burger(located right around the corner) was just ridiculous. This is now my «go to» spot in Soho if I didn’t plan ahead with a reservation anywhere and I’m looking for something good and fast. The service here is great, the burgers are juicy(and you pick both the size and the meat). Toppings? So great. Sauces? Yup. Crispy delicious fries? Of course. Grab a burger, fries, and split a milkshake with a buddy. Then, watch the world go by at the window seats. Perfect!

I ordered their signature hanger with cheese! The patty was alright, good medium rare but a bit thin therefore it’s not juicy enough! A standard burger but costs a bit high. The cheesecake was also pretty good. The restaurant also has many offers to reduce the bill but if I am in Soho I will go for honest burger.

Booked ourselves in to in Soho for an afternoon in miniature. Instead of sandwiches there were three different kinds of slider; a standard cheeseburger, a salmon & prawn patty and a fried chicken slider which also came with a side of tiny fries. The cheeseburger was well cooked as you would expect in a burger joint but pretty standard to be honest. The fish patty on the other hand was completely different and while I enjoyed the filling I didn’t think it was something that should be eaten in a bun. Finally the fried chicken slider was just heaven and I was disappointed when I glanced over the menu to see if it was available as a regular sized option only to find that no, it’s not! There were then two puddings, a lemon curt tart which was very heavy on the pastry but perfectly balances and a tiny sliver of chocolate brownie which was insanely good. It might look tiny but it was so rich it was in fact the perfect size. In fact you might be thinking«That doesn’t look like an awful lot of food» but it was, in my opinion, just right to give you a taste of everything without making you feel overfull. As if that wasn’t enough we were overwhelmed by the amount to drink we were given too. Not only do you get a mini vanilla milkshake as part of the pudding selection but also an iced tea(to keep up with the afternoon tea theme) AND a glass of strawberry prosecco. For a mere £17 per person this is one of the best value for money afternoon teas we’ve done. So if you’re a bit sick of scones or know someone who isn’t a fan of finger sandwiches why not check out for something a little bit different?

Very simple but good quality burger. The price is very reasonable and the service nice and attentive. Great for lunch or a quick dinner before a movie.

Ce restaurant a été notre première étape londonienne et nous né l’avons pas regretté, nous nous sommes régalés !! Il y a comme souvent à Londres un personnel aux petits soins, un large choix de burgers, de frites et de personnalisations !

Incredible burger! Chili fries was great too. I didn’t expect the quality and taste to be at this level, top notch.

The burgers come as just the bun and burgers with the rest of the fillings as side. This allows you to bespoke your burger but also increases the price. Depending on size burgers will cost £7−12 with a couple of fillings. Very similar to the other gourmet burger options out there(Byron/GBK/Honest Burger) at a similar price range. On the whole pretty good but nothing ground breaking, service was good and very friendly.

I really liked the relaxed vibe that was going on there. The veggie burger was really nice and the fries were nice as well. I missed mayonnaise but couldn’t be bothered to ask for some(is that a German thing to eat fries with mayonnaise?!). The servants were really nice and welcoming.

Had the 8 oz ‘The Masterpiece’. I ordered it rare, and it arrived, by my point of view, medium rare. The waiter suggested to change it without any problems. I came here by recommendation, and I was disappointed; the burger was nothing special. The meat had no flavor, the bread was too sweet, and the bottom bread was totally soaked. I always eat beef burgers rare/black and blue and it is normal for the meat to release some blood/liquid, but not that much. The service was good, fast and they all were very polite. The burger and the service for £11.18.

The burger didnt really amaze me, considering its price(£7.25 for a burger with 6oz of beef, a slice of tomato, a bit of lettuce and onions. Cheese will cost £0.99 and £1.50 for bacon to be added). The Vegetable crisp was nice though

I visited this place as part of Mr Hyde’s National Burger Day so expected it to be busy. Luckily I just beat the rush as not long after I got there the queue was out the door. The staff dealt with the issue really well and a good queuing system was soon established. The first thing they should be commended on was the service. Waiting staff were attentive and the food came very quickly after ordering however sadly it went downhill from there. We tried 2 different burgers, the masterpiece and the butchers cut. There’s no bells and whistles with these burgers, a bit of lettuce, tomato, gherkin and red onion is all that is served as standard. Everything else comes with an additional cost. This would be ok if the burgers were incredible but sadly that wasn’t the case. The masterpiece was definitely the better of the 2 however it cam nowhere near the level that I’ve come to expect. The fries were good however they were let down by the other side we went for, namely the onion rings. For £8.95 for a bog standard burger you would be much better off at on of the other burger places in Soho. Both Honest Burger and Patty & Bun are not too far away and both are far superior

The concept at BRGR.CO is an interesting one: you construct your own personal burger. You start by choosing the weight and grade of meat you want, and then picking all the extra frills you want with it. This is great if you’re not a toppings fan because you can buy a plain burger for a paltry £4.95, but if you like good meat and cheese, it can get pricey very quickly. The burgers themselves are great, sandwiched between squishy brioche buns, but I felt I didn’t get much in the way of cheese seeing as it was an extra option, and both my date and I found that the burgers were so wet that one had to be eaten with cutlery and the other kept dripping. A good meal can be had here(with a great array of chips), but with contenders like Honest Burgers and the cheaper option of Byron down the road, it’s probable that BRGR.CO might be muscled out at some point.

I was staying at a hotel in the area while visiting from the US, and this place just caught my eye. The décor is really nice inside: casual but hip, I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the dark wood in the dining area against the white subway tile in the bright expo kitchen. Solo diners(I was on my own) can sit along an outward facing counter up against the windows. I enjoyed the people and car watching, and it made for a better night than staring at a dark wall. At my server’s recommendation, I ordered one of the 6 oz. specialty patties medium rare; it was a pound more expensive than the regular 6 oz. but apparently with slightly better meat. Obviously, I didn’t order both to compare, but it was damn tasty. The way ordering works here is that the menu really only has different patties, varying by size and meat quality. Then, you’re free to add cheese and other toppings as desired. I added bleu cheese and bacon to mine, and the bacon was nicely cooked. Also, it’s not mentioned on the menu, but all burgers are served with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion on the side. One slight downside was the beer selection: they only serve bottles of Heineken and Huber. I had never tried Huber, which is funny because it’s a Wisconsin brewery. However, again my server recommended I try it, and I was quite pleased. Still, I would have preferred a draught menu with a few more options. The fries, which are ordered separately, were very good, but they’re not notable in and of themselves. That’s not a bad thing, though, as you should be coming here for the burger. The fries make no attempt to steal the show – they merely play a perfect supporting role. There were some truffle oil + Parmesan fries that were twice the price and would likely have been more exciting, if you’re looking for a bit of adventure. Finally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were a little slow to refill my water and bring my check, but those were minor issues that didn’t detract from the overall experience. Brgr Co. is definitely worth your time if you’re in the neighborhood!

After having read numerous reviews of this place both on Unilocal and on blogs, I knew I needed to check it out. I had a friend in town who wanted to grab lunch, so we opted for the late afternoon tea! We had made reservations for Friday afternoon, but we could have gotten away without making them. Note, before i continue… the closest tube station is more so Tottenham Court Rd. than Oxford Circus. It’s next to a Chiptole and Starbucks, so somewhat easy to find! :) After being seated, we were given the chance to listen to the menu items. I would have liked to have seen the menu as well as what each mini slider was topped with. One of them was lobster and came with guacamole. As a person who is allergic to avocado, I couldn’t eat more than part of that one. The set up is cute– comes as if you are on a twist in a 50s dinner. Burger was okay, would have liked more of the chicken slider. Fries reminded me of McDonalds. And as for the iced tea, well… it needed more sugar(not to be that American). The desserts were cute as well. Overall, I left full. It was a fun experience trying a different take on the traditional afternoon tea! Not sure when I’ll be back, but can cross this place off my list!

Popped in here for a lunch last weekend — very good burger, the sides were pretty average though. There’s a great range of burgers from the 4oz for £4.99 right up to monster burgers for close to a tenner. Service was quick and friendly. In a city full of similar places they didn’t offer enough for me to go back, but if I happened to be passing and was hungry I’d grab a burger.

As many other diners with us would testify from the food on their tables, they were also in the joint for the special Afternoon Tea. Basically a bunch of mini burgers, small desserts/milkshakes with iced tea and glass of prosecco. Put simply, the food did not meet fantasy in my head. Yes, I was tempted by seeing mini burgers from the pictures, but the actual ones were slightly burnt, had hardly any filling and were dry. The mini milkshake was good though, as was the prosecco, but those are difficult to do wrong(since they’re super easy or bought!). The desserts were also good, but it’s hard to see the value for money since everything was so small. No issue, if the quality of everything was there, but only the desserts/drinks were above average and I imagine those had the least preparation on the premises unless BRGR is also a mini doughnut factory.(apologies if I’m mistaken on how anything is made here) Based on the experience, I probably wouldn’t try their regular menu. The space was cramped and whilst there an event occurred where a champagne flute literally exploded in a waitresses grip with nary a apologetic sounding sorry to the patron covered in drink and glass. It’s just not worth the time when there are many many better burger joints or afternoon tea places in london.

I have been meaning to visit this new burger venue in a long while. Anything with an american flair that’s crossing the british pond makes me excited. So I did a bit of online research and to my surprise, the other branches of BRGR Co outside the UK are in Lebanon(unless the website has not been updated correctly). I’ve never really ventured lebanese cuisine yet so I thought maybe it will be a good and interesting experience to try out BRGR Co. So I arranged to meet here with my friend Seb on an after work Friday dinner. Sort of a prelude to Friday drinks after a gruelling working week. The waiter presented us with the menu and I decided to have the 8oz burger with Blue cheese and side of potato fries on truffled oil with cheese. Seb ordered an 8oz burger steak with pepper sauce. I asked for a glass of Prosecco but was a little bit disappointed to find the serving was quite stingy. I literally downed it in two gulps and it was gone. I thought it was a mistake but when the second glass came through, it was exactly the same amount. It was not properly cold and a little flat which suggests that the bottle might have been opened a while back and wasn’t closed properly. The old me would have called it a rip off, but I wouldn’t say that on here. Maybe I should have just complained but I didn’t want to ruin the mood of my Friday evening. Now, on to the burger. It came rather good looking with a ravishing aroma. The brioche bun was shiny on top and very inviting. I lifted with my forefingers slid under the bottom bun and the first thing I felt was the moist base. The lower bun(as I discovered) literally melted and pressed by the weight of the burger. I thought that maybe it was ought to be eaten quickly so none of the wilting property would have occurred. It was still very hot and would have burnt my tongue if I did the swift bite. The brioche bun itself was actually delicious but the texture certainly was not right. I ended up using my cutleries to enjoy the burger bit by bit. The quality of the beef was superb on the other hand. It sort of redeemed itself once you realise how good the meat quality is. Just the right seasoning, just the right(medium) grilling and certainly just the right texture for a burger patty. I was not disappointed at all. The dinner was finished off with an apple crumble dessert which was heavenly. Cube cutlets of apple garnished with the crust crumble and a silky vanilla ice cream in the middle made it a really good finale. I will certainly come back to BRGR Co but next time, I will try the Afternoon tea which includes a burger, fries, prosecco(which I hope they’d put a bit more of), etc for only £17 per person. Sounds like a very good deal to me. This would have been a 4 star if it wasn’t for the poor prosecco.

In a city that is experiencing a burger renaissance, is a bit of a disappointment. There are plenty of choices for minced meat in Soho, and I would rank 4th, well after Honest Burger, Burger & Lobster, and yes even below the now ubiquitous Byron burger. The burgers aren’t bad, they’re just a bit unremarkable, hence the 3 star rating. I’ve been twice now and both times had my burger a bit over cooked. The skinny chips are tasty for sure, but I found the onion rings to be dry. There is a wide selection of sizes and quality of meat available for your burger, which to be honest is a bit confusing. The wait staff had a hard time explaining the difference between the burgers except saying the more expensive cut was of higher quality. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a bad burger, it’s just ok. Last Friday we only wound up at as they could seat us immediately versus a 2 hour(yes 2 hour) wait at Honest Burger and a 90 minute queue at Burger & Lobster. No wonder had no wait, it is simply not as good as your other burger alternatives.
