As rail stations go, this one is fine. Taxi rank outside which is always useful.
Good service to London Bridge and also overground services to East London so works off the London Bridge to Croydon (and beyond) line.
Last time I came here, there was some on street parking still available which is a rarity these days. Not sure how they have managed to avoid the yellow line obsession.

AKA station of fear/rapesville/mugging central. I jest! It’s not that bad but having lived round the area for three years all my dodgy experiences revolved around this station.
Since having a makeover it’s a little more non-criminal friendly and much better lit but still not the best place to be hanging around in the early hours of the morning.
Oh yeah, it’s got very good links into central London etc.
