Having visited had two visits for a trim, was fairly satisfied. Third visit a little bit not of the usual service (rushed) and hair cut too short.

Have had my hair cut here a few times now due to proximity to work and have always been impressed. That said, you can tell the range of talent when you pop in for the free fringe trims — I had a fantastic one last time around but have a feeling that he might be a stylist on the upper end of the price ranges. And considering I can only afford the lower range well…
I have a pretty standard cut so can’t say too much but service has always been nice and the numerous free fringe trims I’ve had (seriously, it grows SO fast) in my lunch breaks have made me a loyal customer.

I’ve always had great service with Brooks and Brooks, and don’t recognise the experiences of the other reviewers.
I use Valerie for my haircuts and Kerry for highlights and both have been brilliant. They always listen to what I want, and are friendly and professional. Kerry is able to interpret just which colours I need, and I always feel I’m in safe hands.
Brooks & Brooks have won a series of awards, and are often called upon to do fashion shoots and support the catwalk shows at Fashion Week (it’s harder to get an appointment then!) I definitely recommend them.
They are not cheap, but not expensive for London either — prices are on their website.

Had a haircut at Brooks and Brooks yesterday and it was just fine… nothing too spectacular, no big disaster either. The place is pleasant and clean, and everyone was nice and helpful.
However, the cutting experience was a bit too conservative for me… I asked for bangs and the stylist wouldn’t cut them, etc. Basically, I left with a slightly shorter version of the hair I went in with — my husband could barely tell a difference besides the one in our checking account.
Meh.
