A nice little local café. They have a simple though straight forward menu. It really is what it is. Very basic and simple. The staff are wonderful and really nice. I question the management’s approach to quality and appearance. The has been no effort in making the food or drinks special. Maybe theyre just trying to tap into the tourist trade where they don’t expect return customers, and if this is there objective, they’ve done a great job of achieving this.

Funny ol place this! Food was great but something was missing. A smile from the staff and a tenner out of my purse for a cake and coffee!!! If I win the lottery or a certain horse comes in I might go back but only if I can fight my way through the Prams and pushchairs.

A definite favourite with the yummy mummy contingent who create a pram barricade at the entrance before settling into the comfortable settees. Very good coffees and decent, but expensive snacks are the order of the day here. Some of the food isn’t bad but the prices mean it’s not likely to be many people’s lunch time regular.

This is the«star» breakdown: ***friendly service **super weak loose leaf lapsang souchong tea that I let steep for 4 minutes and it still looked and tasted as if someone had just dunked a tea bag in and out of the tea pot two times. I could have flushed 2.40 down the toilet and had a better experience. ** «fuck» and«shit» heard escaping the counter dude’s mouth as he berated himself(or the cake?) for letting a huge chunk of pound cake fall to the ground. This place is «buggy brigade» central and mama doesn’t want to hear that sort of language spoken in front of the children. ***nice-looking joint with sofas, communal tables and cozier round tables. **four employees behind the counter on a slow shift actually creates more problems than it solves. ****outside seating

The freshest bread, good parma ham, goat cheese and olive oil. Did i mention the cakes. A beautiful café with a mix of photos of Italy and celebritys around the café, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Buenos Aires is the busiest brunch spot in Greenwich. During the week it is filled with young mothers and pushchairs, and at the weekend it is full of groups of friends and young couples. Don’t be put off by the queues or the apparent lack of space in the restaurant-it is surprisingly spacious and light and the comfy sofas are worth waiting for. There are also tables and chairs outside if the weather is fine enough for you to sit outside. The breakfasts are really special– freshly baked pastries and the Mediterranean platters are all amazing, as are the selection of fresh fruit juices. The coffee is phenomenal– 100% Arabica coffee– and is the main draw of the place– you can also purchase bags of it to take home with you. Buenos Aires also has an excellent outside catering service. I once used them for a photo shoot and they served the crew the best on-set buffet we had all year.

I’m a big fan of deli food i could quite easily spend my life eating nothing else, i try not to judge places too easily so i visited this place twice. It is a charming, comfortable place, offering a large selection of delicacy’s the coffee was ok but seemed to be lacking something, i expected better from a place like this, the food however was absolutely delicious, but rather on the expensive side, as for the staff, well i think the girl serving me must have been having 2 off days, i say 2 because she was the same on both occasions, she always looked and acted like she was getting ready to serve the next person coming in rather than giving me all her attention while serving me. sorry to say i wont be going back, but the food is nice.
